Youth & Peacebuilding

SCSN empowers Somali youth to become active agents of peace, leadership, and development through capacity building and civic participation.

Key Initiatives:

Youth Civic Engagement Program: Completed in 2023; empowered 200+ youth with leadership and advocacy skills.
Peace Forums and Dialogues: Bringing together youth, religious leaders, and local officials to discuss peacebuilding.
Volunteerism and Mentorship: Developing peer-led initiatives and service opportunities for young people.
Current Reach: Programs in Taleh and plans for replication in other Banadir and Galmudug districts.
