Extending beyond emergency response, SCSN is committed to building foundational community infrastructure that serves as cornerstones for recovery and development.
In the Gadoon district of Galmudug State, we have constructed a mosque and educational centre that provides a beacon of hope and a central hub for learning. This vital project offers youth and children in this small district unprecedented educational opportunities, with special emphasis on empowering young girls through access to proper education in a safe, dedicated environment.
Complementing this initiative, we have established the Hoyga Nolosha Community Support Centre in Mogadishu, a comprehensive facility featuring administrative offices, storage warehouses, dedicated classrooms, and distribution areas. This center serves as our operational hub where we directly engage with IDP communities, implement our various programs, and distribute food and other essential items to those in need.
Together, these infrastructure projects represent our commitment to creating permanent spaces where hope is nurtured, education is valued, and practical support is consistently available—building foundations for lasting resilience and self-sufficiency.
